The #Royal #Tweed #Bridge (known locally as ‘the new bridge’) at #Berwick-Upon-Tweed, #Northumberland, #England. This is both a #road and foot bridge. The #construction of this bridge was completed in 1928. Through the #arch can be seen the much more impressive #Royal Border Bridge, upon which a #Virgin #Trains East Coast #VTEC service is travelling southbound to #London from #Edinburgh. Both bridges took 3 years to construct, and serve as vital arteries over the #River Tweed. #engineer #engineering #travel #education #tourism #tourist #history #fact #leisure #life #culture #water #reflection
