Water Taxi from Leeds Dock to Granary Wharf, Leeds, West Yorkshire, Engl...

Views from the Leeds Water Taxi on a journey from Leeds Dock (formerly Clarence Dock) to Granary Wharf, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England - 12th August, 2016.

The Water Taxi is a free service in Leeds, it is operated by the owners of Leeds Dock, Allied London, and is designed to help both commuters and tourists travel within the city from the Railway Station / Holbeck Areas to the Leeds Dock / Hunslet Areas (and back again). There are currently two taxis travelling up and down the River Aire and the Aire and Calder Navigation.

This film was made with a Veho Muvi K2 series action cam, mounted on a small tripod on the front of one of the Water Taxis. The journey begins at Leeds Dock, enters the Aire and Calder Navigation, goes beneath Crown Point Bridge, enters the River Aire, and then goes beneath Centenary Bridge, past The Calls and Victoria Quays, under Leeds Bridge, behind Asda House, under Victoria Bridge, before finally arriving at Granary Wharf's Leeds Lock.

This is a really great little service, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city of Leeds.
